Animals in War.

W.A.L.T... understand the importance of animals used in war.
when doing this I enjoyed writing two different stories together and trying to remember all the knowledge about this. Next time I will try to write more.

Easter Triduum !

W.A.L.T... Identify how the Easter triduum is celebrated in the church.

Next time I will add in more information and try to make a better prezi as I will have more experience. When doing this I liked playing around with prezi and finding out new cool ways to make a Digital learning object (DLO)

Sam's Flashback

W.A.L.T. .... Write a flashback from a different perspective and use show not tell

When doing this I had to find words that show not tell like saying misty coldness would imply that it is cold instead of just saying it was cold.

When doing this we used a book called the Anzac puppy by Peter Millet and Trish Bowels as our base story, in the book there is three characters Freda the dog, Lucy and Sam we got to chose who wrote about we wrote about I chose Sam because I chose Sam I did life in the trenches from Sams perspective.

As I walk back into the trenches I feel the misty coldness creeping up my spine . It gets colder and colder as the weeks go on , everyday as I stammer back into the trench after a long hard days work full of explosions and gunshots. I seem to feel lucky as if I have just found a Leprechaun's pot of gold. I feel lucky because of Freda my dog. She is my  lucky charm , Freda is what keeps me going she is why i’m still here .I feel thankful that I am still alive until I see two of my best friends get shot down right in front of me. As I look around I start to realise that all my friends are gone. My friends on my block are right there buried  .I start to tear up but then I feel something on my leg it’s furry , what could it be . I look down and see Freda she is as white as a cloud but she has spots as black as night. I find out she is all I have left.

Leadership Strand

This week we were doing a leadership strand this is my leadership DLO I learnt how to use prezi and how to show the qualities of a leader.
